Trial and Error Tuesday!

Ok, so.

I was inspired to do one of these bad boys by Yusra Gulab Jamman who is pretty awesome at them. Me – not so much! But here goes nothing;

Cry

turn on the faucet

it will help,

the fear inside-

it’s just fear

let the tears flow

be not afraid of loneliness

  1. Awww, thank you so much for the kind words! 🙂 I am honoured to have inspired you. But what do you mean you’re not awesome at these pieces?!? I reject that statement Missy – I really liked this one! 🙂 It made me think of those times when you’re feeling really low and you go and cry under a hot shower and you come out feeling a little bit better afterwards. (Is it normal to go cry under a hot shower when you’re feeling sad? maybe that’s just what I do… :-P) Nevertheless, you evoked strong emotions and brought back some intense memories for me! 🙂 Great word-spotting! 🙂

    1. I am pleased you liked it! Actually, the more I read it the more it is growing on me. I had to stop reading it at some point though- it’s starting to go to my head that I ‘wrote’ this poem, when in reality all I did was take someone else’s words and played with them a little ha! It is definitely normal to cry under a hot shower! Yeah I was going for that feeling you get when are beyond sad and the waterworks keep coming. The word ‘cry’ set the whole mood of the poem if that makes sense. Ok, I have to stop talking like I am an expert now! Thanks again for inspiring me 🙂
